Dr. George Magoufis

Dr. George Magoufis is a specialist in interventional radiology.  He graduated from the Aristotle University Medical School and the Hellenic Armed Forces Corps Officers’ School.  He was trained in radiology in Areteion Hospital, in Athens, Greece.  Following the completion of his specialty training, he specialized in Interventional Neuroradiology at the University of Bicetre in Paris, France, (Professor Pierre Lasjaunias).

He served as an active duty officer of the Hellenic Navy. He is currently the Director of the Department of Interventional Neuroradiology at Metropolitan Hospital in Athens, Greece.  He holds a Ph.D. in Medicine. He is the author of many scientific articles and various book chapters.  He was also an invited speaker at many national and international scientific conferences.
